Quantum Simulations with Multicomponent Ultracold Atoms

Quantum simulations employing multicomponent ultracold atomic gases represent a rapidly advancing research direction within contemporary AMO physics.

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together leading researchers to discuss the newest developments, challenges, and opportunities in this rapidly evolving field of multicomponent platforms.

Dates

June 4-6, 2026 (Thursday – Saturday), Vilnius, Lithuania

(Arrival on June 3, departure on Saturday, June 6 or Sunday, June 7)

LOCATION

Talks will be on June 4-5, 2026, a poster session on June 4 afternoon, a conference dinner on June 4 evening.

The talks and the poster session will take place in the Senate Hall at the Old Campus of Vilnius University.

TRIP

Boat trip “Noah’s Ark” with lunch in Trakai Lake will take place on June 6, 2026.

The trip takes place in Trakai, one of Lithuania’s most scenic destinations, centered around Lake Galvė and the iconic Trakai Island Castle.

Cruise

  • Duration: ~ 2.5 hours
  • Lunch onboard (local or other style catering)
  • Route: Around Lake Galvė, circling the castle and nearby islands
  • Commentary (sometimes): Local history and landmarks
